Students will
learn through in-theory and hands-on training the
principles of large and small industrial equipment
applications. Areas covered will include welding, 2 &
4-cycle engines, heavy equipment, gasoline and diesel
engines, maintenance and repair. Students will also be
taught the maintenance and operation of hydraulic and
pneumatic systems. Safety, proper tool use, leadership,
and interpersonal skills are inter-woven throughout the
course. Students will have the opportunity to learn the
basic skills necessary for entry-level employment in a
variety of construction and industrial mechanics field.
Special
Feature: Our program is certified by the National
Center for Construction Education Research, an industry
standard which affords students the opportunity to earn
a Certificate of Competency upon completion of the
program at the required level.
