Multimedia & Design
Hi! Multimedia and Design, also known as digital media arts, is where art and technology come together. Multimedia and design offers career opportunities to aspiring artists, designers, communicators and entrepreneurs. Multimedia refers to the coming together of text, pictures, sound, motion and interactivity. It is about art, design, communication and storytelling; it is also about working with people. Qualified graduates can find entry-level positions in businesses ranging from traditional design companies to work at TV stations, film production companies and web design companies. Many graduates continue on in their studies at either technical and art schools or in more traditional college art programs.
Creative software applications explored, including: PhotoShop, Illustrator, Flash, InDesign, and Final Cut Studio. A digital portfolio is created. Guest professionals and participation in art exhibitions and competitions are integral parts of the program.
